Sometimes you can get what want from eazyBI, but the performances are terrible.
There are a few ways to tackle it:
- In Data Canter: Dedicated nodes for Data Center
- In Best practices for report creation.
- Cache
In Other case you need a very complex query to get to the issues you need.
In this post, I want to discuss another option, when all others have failed: create a new account.
The new account should be configured very specific to insure it will give the best solution to the problem you are facing. In order to do so, you will use a JQL query filter, that will give you exactly thew population the report works on.
For example: I needed very complex Filter for an important report that slowed the report tremendously, also with other active filters. So I created and account with the relevant JQL and created the report there.
Of course this is not suggested for any difficulty, consequently you will remain with many accounts, which is not good. But in rare occasions it is a good solution.
